Welcome to my website.  My name is Dave Wright and my amateur radio call sign is K3DCW (ex KB3SQO). Although I have been licensed only since April of 2009, I have worked with HF radio professionally since 1990. I obtained my present call sign in June 2009 and received my Extra class license in November of 2009.  

My primary amateur radio interest is HFand 6m communications, particularly the various digital modes. I am also interested in chasing DX, collecting QSL cards, and some light contesting. I am a proud member of the American Radio Relay League and the following clubs: Feld Hell Club (# 2427), Penn-Ohio DX Society (PODXS) 070 Club (# 1092), European PSK Club (# 10715), the 30 meters Digital Group (# 2856), and the Straight Key Century Club (# 6905).
